Dr. Mark D. Lerner
Dr. Mark D. Lerner
is a Clinical Psychologist, Author, Speaker and Traumatic
Stress Consultant who focuses on helping people during
times of crisis. He maintains a clinical practice on Long
Island, New York and regularly consults with individuals
and organizations around the world. Dr. Lerner is the
former Chairman of the National Center for Crisis
Management and founding President of the American
Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. He is
the originator of the Acute Traumatic Stress Management
intervention model and has authored several books based
on this model (www.ATSM.org,

and www.UniversityCrisisResponse.com).
Dr. Lerner frequently works with the legal community,
serving as an expert witness in cases involving traumatic
stress, and with groups and organizations in the development
of organizational-based crisis management teams. The United
Nations has appointed him as an Expert Consultant with
the United Nations Department of Safety and Security.
Dr. Lerner is presently engaged in developing his book,
audio book and presentation series, It's OK Not To

Dr. Brad Lindell
Dr. Brad Lindell is the
Vice President of The National center for Crisis Management.
He is a Clinical Psychologist and serves as the Executive
Director of Operations for Mental Health Document Review
(MHDR) - a psychological cost containment company. Dr.
Lindell frequently consults with the insurance industry
in the detection of unnecessary and fraudulent psychological
claims. He has been called upon by the legal community
and the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Dr. Lindell has
served as a statistical and research consultant to corporations
an governmental agencies for over twenty years. He has
served as an Adjunct Professor for Hofstra University
and Dowling College where he has taught undergraduate
and graduate courses in research and statistics, and psychological
and educational measurement. As a School Psychologist,
Dr. Lindell works for the Connetquot School District in
New York.

Dr. Joseph S. Volpe
Dr. Joseph S. Volpe is a
Clinical and School Psychologist, and works in the Farmingdale
School District in New York. Dr. Volpe specializes in
the evaluation and treatment of individuals experiencing
traumatic stress as well as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity
Disorder (ADHD). He is the Program Coordinator for the
Institute for Attentional Disorders, a division of Long
Island Psychological Associates, P.C. Dr. Volpe has held
Adjunct Professor positions in the Psychology Department
at Long Island University/C.W. Post Campus and the Sate
University of New York/College at Old Westbury.
